Nick M. Rice

Nick M. Rice is a versatile performer, choreographer, adjudicator, and dance educator from Des Moines, IA. He has trained at institutions including Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles, Giordano Dance Chicago, and the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City. His professional work

spans dance, theater, show choir, and creative direction. Nick’s choreography has been showcased at the Iowa Choreography Festival, the Des Moines Arts Festival, and on WHO 13’s Hello Iowa!. He has worked with artists such as Jessalyn (Jojo) Siwa, the Iowa Energy High Voltage Dancers, and has performed professionally with Iowa Dance Theatre and Ballet Des Moines. As an educator, Nick is a certified instructor through the Nan Giordano Certification Program®, Acrobatic Arts®, and Dance Masters of America™. He was recently elected Secretary of Dance Masters of Mid-America Chapter #34 and serves on the national organization’s Future Leaders Council. He has also served as a convention instructor and adjudicator for various organizations, bringing his passion for technique, performance, and artistry to dancers across the region.
