Born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, Sartell has been dancing for over 20 years. She has trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, heels, hip hop, improv, ballroom, tap, pointe, pom, and high kick techniques. Sartell attended California Institute of the Arts where she achieved her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with a minor in Science & Math in December 2021.

Since graduating, Sartell has found joy in sharing her love and knowledge of dance. She has taught at American Dance Training Camps, the Iowa Choreography Festival, Flaunt Gogo Academy, and many studios in the Los Angeles area.

She is actively training in Countertechnique working to achieve her teacher certification, and is currently signed with Flaunt Entertainment Agency.

Notable performance credits are with EDC, Escape Psycho Circus, Zouk, Iowa Choreography Festival, and Donofrio Dance Company.

Sartell has worked with renowned choreographers such as Rosanna Tavarez, Taylor Donofrio, Rosie Herrera, Andre Tyson, Sam Wentz, Bridgette Dunn-Korpela, and more.
