Born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, Sartell has been dancing for over 20 years. She has trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, heels, hip hop, improv, tap, pointe, pom, and high kick techniques. Sartell attended California Institute of the Arts where she achieved her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with a minor in Science & Math in December 2021. While learning and exploring as a student, Sartell discovered her passion in studying Dance Film and Countertechnique.

Since graduating, Sartell has found joy in sharing her love and knowledge of dance. She has taught at American Dance Training Camps, the Iowa Choreography Festival, Walnut Elementary School, and many studios in the Los Angeles area.

She is actively training in Countertechnique in hopes to achieve her teacher certification, and is currently signed with Flaunt Entertainment Agency.

Sartell has worked with renowned choreographers such as Rosanna Tavarez, Taylor Donofrio, Rosie Herrera, Andre Tyson, sam wentz, Bridgette Dunn-Korpela, and more
