Olivia Jozaitis
Olivia Jozaitis grew up dancing in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. She trained at Braemar Dance Center where she was a part of their first competition team that helped grow into a renowned award-winning studio under Donnette Castle and Kari Jensen. Throughout high school, Olivia has had private lessons and master classes from Shawn Black, Alex Swader, Monyette Crump, Nadine Barton and Julian Carmolinga. Her college career started at Kent State University where she trained in classical ballet under Jeffrey Rockland and modern under Erin Smith before transferring to Iowa State University. Olivia is currently a senior at Iowa State University majoring in Chemistry with a minor in Dance. She intends to soak up as much knowledge as possible in every opportunity that has been offered to her. Olivia wants to continue to share her experiences in her teaching and choreography to create an environment where inclusivity and self-expression are recognized, yet pushing her dancers to new limits. Her passion for dance made her want to continue a professional career in dance and choreography in hopes to make a positive impact in the dance world. She has been teaching and choreographing at various studios in Illinois and Iowa for over five years.
Olivia is currently an instructor in ballet technique at Robert Thomas Dancenter and occasionally choreographs for dancers at her former studio in Illinois. She looks forward to her future years as an artist to continue improving herself and her students.
